Crucial Care for 1095 High Carbon Steel: Unlike stainless steel or acrylic, 1095 High Carbon Steel is a premium metal chosen for its exceptional strength and edge retention, but it will rust if exposed to moisture.
Keep it Dry: Always wipe your blade completely dry immediately after use. Never leave it wet or submerge it in water.
Oil Regularly: Apply a very thin layer of mineral oil, 3-in-One oil, or specialized blade wax to the metal surfaces after cleaning to create a protective barrier against moisture and humidity.
